| File-extensies zijn de driecijferige of -letterige achtervoegsels die achter de punt in een bestandsnaam staan. U weet natuurlijk dat het bestand 10010345.JPG een foto bevat. Hoe u dat weet? Dank zij de file-extensie .JPG die tegenwoordig dé standaard is voor foto's. Kennis van de betekenis van extensies is dus belangrijk, omdat u op deze manier te weten kunt komen wat een volledig onbekend bestand betekent en waar het vandaan komt. |
